The first impression to Mel. is that you can see the modern and classic buildings on the street when you take a stroll around the city. Like the most modern building - Eureka Tower, it's a place where you can see the stunning view of Mel; the most impressive 19th-century buildings - the state library of Victoria, which is a Mel. central landmark as well.

MEL is a vibrant city famous for its cafes, restaurants, bars, fashion, shopping, art, gardens and world class events such as the Melbourne Cup, Formula 1 Grand Prix and Australian Tennis Open. You can find a spot to grab a coffee about every 20 meters in Mel. And you can dine in any style of cuisine because of the cultural mix or explore night life at bars. Speaking of shopping, Mel. is on the cutting edge of trends with such a variety shops on offer such as Mel central, Bourke street mall, Harbour town..etc. There must be something for everyone, especially on Boxing Day.
墨爾本今年剛獲選為全世界最適合居住的城市..流行時尚的氣息..藝術文化的氛圍..國際性的運動賽事..聖誕與新年節慶的氣氛..處處都可感受到城市的熱情與活力..墨爾本整個城市總是瀰漫著咖啡香..大概每走個幾十公尺就會看到一家cafe..還有很多各國的料理..因為這裡就像個小型聯合國..很多外來移民..所以異國美食也就不足為奇..夜晚的墨爾本熱鬧依舊..許多特色酒吧藏身在巷弄之間..澳洲人最喜歡三不五時就來一杯..在夏天酒吧外的露天座位總是座無虛席.
